Pet Shop N.cat
Nagoya, Aichi3.4 mi / 5.4 km
N.cat is a breeder-run pet shop and cat cafe in Tochi, Minato Ward, Nagoya, which opened in summer 2026 on the ground floor of a residential building. Visitors pay to spend time in a cat room with friendly cats, including the cattery's own parent cats and kittens looking for families, and can feed them treats by hand. Kittens such as Scottish Folds are sold on site, so this is a commercial cattery rather than a rescue, and the owner offers advice on choosing and caring for a cat. The shop also sells cat and dog goods, and pets are welcome to come along. Seasonal discounts are posted on Instagram and LINE, where irregular closing days are also announced.
ANELLA CAFE Aichi Ama
Oharu, Aichi4.0 mi / 6.5 km
ANELLA CAFE Aichi Ama is a rescue dog and cat cafe in Nishijo, Oharu, a town just west of Nagoya, about 20 minutes on foot from Shippo Station on the Meitetsu Tsushima Line. It opened in July 2026 as part of the ANELLA chain. Rescued dogs share the main room with visitors, and the rescued cats have a quieter room of their own at the back, so visitors can choose which animals to spend time with. All of the animals are waiting for new families, and adoptions are arranged through ANELLA's own process. Visits are charged per 30 minutes with 15-minute extensions, with lower rates for elementary school children, seniors and visitors with disabilities, and preschoolers enter free. The cafe is open every day and has parking for nine cars. It also offers grooming and operates as a welfare workplace for people with disabilities.

It is in Omiyacho, Nakamura, about 9 minutes on foot from Taikodori Station on the Sakuradori Line and 13 minutes from Nakamura Koen Station. Set up in 2018 to take in cats from a hoarding case, it is an open shelter whose contact room works like a cat cafe, where anyone can spend time with socialised rescue cats, many of them taken in from the Nagoya Animal Welfare Center. Entry is a flat fee per person with no time limit, children are welcome and visitors may bring their own drinks. All cats are looking for homes, and adoptions follow the shelter's own screening. There is no parking. The room is open every afternoon except the second and third Thursdays of the month and occasional closures.
