Cafelinos
Cafelinos is the first cat cafe in Burgos, a small adoption cafe on Calle de la Concepción, just south of the Arlanzón river and a few minutes on foot from the cathedral. It is run by the non-profit Asociación Cafelinos, founded in 2026, which acts as a foster home and adoption centre for cats brought in by other rescue associations because they were abandoned or living on the street. The cats live in a quiet salon with resting areas and space to play, and a staff member is always present. Visits must be booked online, last at least an hour and can be extended if there is room, and the contribution per person includes a coffee or soft drink. Only six visitors are admitted per hour. Visitors use hand gel and shoe covers, children under 14 come with an adult, and outside food and pets are not allowed.
