Biankanaitsu
Biankanaitsu, also called Inuneko no Ouchi, is a rescue cat and dog house in Ushio, in the north of Fujieda, a few minutes by car from the Fujieda-Okabe interchange of the Shin-Tomei Expressway. A volunteer-run rescue that has looked after cats in Fujieda since 2017, it moved into this detached house in January 2025, with rescued dogs on the ground floor and rescued cats upstairs. The cats include former strays, retired breeding cats and cats from hoarding cases, and all are looking for adopters, though visitors who only want to spend time with them are welcome. Visits are charged per 30 or 60 minutes with one drink, payment is cash only, no food is served, and the room can be booked privately. Opening days vary, so check the calendar or Instagram before visiting. A pet hotel and dog daycare run on the same site.
