These terms apply when you use Cat Cafe Map at https://catcafemap.com (the "site"). The site is operated by Renna Labs ("we", "us" or "our"). By using the site, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

About the listings
Cat Cafe Map is a directory of cat cafes. We are not affiliated with the cafes we list, and a listing is not an endorsement. We work to keep listings accurate, but opening hours, prices, booking rules, age limits and adoption details change, and cafes open and close. Always check with the cafe before you visit.
Ratings and reviews shown on cafe pages come from Google Maps. They belong to the people who wrote them and do not reflect our opinion.
Using the site
You may use the site for your own personal, non-commercial use. Please don't use it in a way that breaks the law, harms other people, or interferes with the site's operation or security. We may suspend or end access to the site at any time, without notice, including if these terms are broken.
Please don't copy the directory in bulk. You may not use scrapers, crawlers or other automated tools to collect listings, cafe details or map data from the site or its APIs, or republish them elsewhere, without our written permission. Search engines indexing the site in line with our robots.txt are welcome.
Messages you send us
When you contact us, report a listing, claim a listing or suggest a change, you confirm that what you send is accurate to the best of your knowledge and that you have the right to share it. We may use the information you send to create, correct or remove listings.
Links to other websites
The site links to websites we don't own or control, such as cafe websites, Google Maps and Amazon. We are not responsible for their content, products, services or privacy practices, or for any loss caused by using them. Please read the terms and privacy policies of any website you visit.
Some links to products are affiliate links, which means we may earn a commission if you buy something. See our Affiliate Disclaimer for details.
No warranty
The site is provided "as is" and "as available", with all faults and without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, Renna Labs and its affiliates, licensors and service providers disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title and non-infringement, and any warranties arising from a course of dealing or usage of trade.
In particular, we do not promise that:
- the site will meet your needs or be available, uninterrupted or error-free;
- any information on the site, including cafe listings, is accurate, complete, reliable or up to date;
- errors will be corrected; or
- the site, its servers or any emails we send are free of viruses or other harmful components.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Renna Labs and its suppliers will not be liable for any special, incidental, indirect or consequential damages arising from or related to your use of, or inability to use, the site. This includes lost profits, lost data, business interruption, personal injury and loss of privacy, even if we were told such damages were possible and even if a remedy fails of its essential purpose.
Our total liability to you for any claim related to the site is limited to the amount you paid us through the site, or US$100 if you haven't paid us anything.
Some states and countries don't allow these exclusions or limits, so some of them may not apply to you. Where that's the case, they apply to the fullest extent the law allows.
Governing law and disputes
These terms and your use of the site are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Your use of the site may also be subject to other local, state, national or international laws.
If you have a concern or dispute about the site, you agree to first try to resolve it informally by contacting us.
If you are a consumer in the European Union, you also benefit from any mandatory provisions of the law of the country where you live.
United States legal compliance
You confirm that you are not located in a country subject to a United States government embargo or designated by the United States government as a "terrorist supporting" country, and that you are not on any United States government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
Other terms
Severability
If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, it will be interpreted to achieve its purpose as far as the law allows, and the rest of the terms will remain in effect.
Waiver
If we don't enforce a right or a part of these terms, that doesn't mean we give it up, and waiving one breach doesn't waive any later breach.
Translations
If these terms are ever made available in other languages, the English version applies in the event of a dispute.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If a change is material, we will make reasonable efforts to give at least 30 days' notice before it takes effect, and we decide what counts as material. If you keep using the site after a change takes effect, you agree to the updated terms. If you don't agree, please stop using the site.
