Pelíšek ⁠‌‌​​‌​‌​‌​​​​​‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌​​​‌​‌‌‌​​​‌​‌‌‌‌​⁠is an adoption cat cafe on třída Kapitána Jaroše in central Brno, close to Lužánky park. Opened on 1 April 2016, it was the first cat cafe in Czechia set up to rehome shelter cats, and by its tenth anniversary it had placed around 1,000 cats in new homes. All the cats come from partner shelters and rescues, mainly Opuštěné kočičí tlapky, and usually stay a few weeks before adoption. Visitors who want to adopt fill in a questionnaire at the cafe, which is reviewed with the shelter, then sign a contract and pay an adoption fee; cats leave vaccinated, dewormed and neutered according to age. The cafe serves specialty coffee from Brno roaster Fiftybeans, homemade cakes including vegan and gluten-free options, and has a small garden. Guests must not feed or wake the cats, and parents must supervise children. Tables can be booked online.

Kočkafé ⁠‌‌​​‌​‌​‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌​​‌‌‌‌​​‌‌​‌‌​‌​‌​‌​⁠Schrödinger is a large retro-style cat cafe in Brno's historic centre, reached through the passage of a historic building on Dominikánské náměstí between the New Town Hall and the House of the Lords of Lipá. It opened in October 2019 at Koliště 55, taking over the concept of Envi Café, Brno's first cat cafe from 2015, and moved in summer 2022 into the former Livingstone club, describing itself as the largest cat cafe in Europe. Around ten resident cats, mostly from South Moravian shelters and chosen for their sociable temperament, live there permanently and are not for adoption; a booklet tells each cat's story. The cafe has vintage furniture, a piano, a library and board games, plus the Galerie Felidae with cat-themed exhibitions. Cakes, ice cream and lemonade bases are made in-house. Guests must not give the cats human food, but staff hand out free cat treats that visitors can give them, and children must be accompanied.

Tři ⁠‌‌​​‌​‌​‌​​​‌‌‌‌​‌‌‌​‌​​​‌‌​‌​​‌​‌‌‌​‌‌​⁠Kočketýři is a quiet cat cafe on Nádražní street in Staré Brno, a short walk from Brno main railway station. Opened in late 2023, it has three permanent resident cats and a changing group of adoptable cats from the Kočky u Katky shelter, so the number of cats varies. Visitors interested in adoption can apply through the cafe and, if approved, sign a contract and pay an adoption fee. The menu offers specialty coffee, tea, cocoa, lemonades and classic Czech cakes. Entry is limited to visitors aged seven and over, under-15s must come with an adult, and one adult may accompany no more than two children; dogs are not allowed. Guests are seated by staff and asked to respect the cats' space, and a double door keeps the cats inside. Booking by phone is recommended.

KosmoCats ⁠‌‌​​‌​‌​‌​‌​​‌‌‌‌​‌​‌​‌‌‌‌‌‌‌​​​‌​​‌​​​‌⁠is a cat cafe on Jarošova street in Znojmo, run together with the KosmoKids children's cafe at the same address. Several resident cats roam the cafe area and readily settle on visitors' laps, while a separate children's play corner without cats lets parents watch their children with a coffee in hand. The menu covers coffee, homemade lemonade, cakes, pancakes and ice cream sundaes, and tables can be reserved online. With the playroom next door it is aimed at families as well as cat lovers, though parents are expected to keep children calm around the cats. It opens from mid-morning on weekdays and from the afternoon at weekends.
