Cat ⁠‌‌​​‌​‌​​‌‌‌‌‌​‌‌​​‌​​‌‌‌​‌​‌​‌​‌​‌‌‌‌​​⁠Lounge is a cat café on Prince Saud Al Faisal Street in the Rawdah Square block of Al Rawdah, Jeddah. It opened in 2018 in Al Shatea and is widely described as the first cat café in Saudi Arabia; it later moved to its current site. The café keeps a large mixed group of cats, including Sphynx, other pedigree breeds and rescued cats, and stray cats rescued by content creator Dr. Wahid Mohamad are regularly taken in here. The coffee counter and seating area are separated from the cat area by a glass partition. Visitors pay an entry fee for a timed session with the cats, usually half an hour, and drinks, croissants and cakes are sold at the counter. The café is family-friendly and popular with children, and it is open every day from morning until midnight.

Jeddah, Makkah

Catmania ⁠‌‌​​‌​‌​‌‌‌​​‌‌​‌​‌​‌​‌​‌​‌‌​​‌​​‌​‌​‌‌‌⁠Café is a cat cafe on Abdullah Sulayman Street in Jeddah, where guests can order coffee and spend time with the resident cats. Google Maps listed it as temporarily closed in 2026, and its Instagram account had not posted since July 2025, so check for news before visiting.

Al Khobar, Eastern Province

Pets ⁠‌‌​​‌​‌​‌​‌‌‌‌​‌​​​​​‌​‌​​​​​‌​‌‌‌‌​‌​‌​⁠Park is a cat lounge on Prince Bandar Street in Al Khobar Al Shamaliyah, Al Khobar, running under the slogan 'Qahwa w Qatwa' (coffee and a kitty). It opened as a café with a cat room and became one of the best-known cat cafés in the Eastern Province, later adding a branch in Dammam. The cat room holds around 25 cats of various breeds, and visitors buy a ticket for a half-hour session; treats can be bought to feed the cats, which tend to gather around anyone who opens a packet. At this branch the café side has been scaled back, and the venue now mainly operates as a cat room with timed entry. Bookings for groups, birthdays and events are taken by WhatsApp. It is popular with families with children and is open every afternoon and evening.

Dammam, Eastern Province

Pets ⁠‌‌​​‌​‌​‌​​​‌‌​‌‌​‌​​​​‌‌​​‌​‌​‌‌​‌‌‌‌​​⁠Park Dammam is the Dammam branch of the Pets Park cat lounge, inside the West Avenue complex on Omar Ibn Al Khattab Street in Al Faisaliyah. The owners describe it as a park for cats where families can drink coffee and play with beautiful and rare cats, and it pairs a café serving coffee and snacks with an indoor cat area holding several dozen cats of different breeds. Visitors pay an entry fee to go into the cat area for a timed session and can buy treats to feed the cats; the entry fee does not include café orders. The lounge is aimed at families and children, and some visitors come back regularly to see favourite cats. It is open every afternoon and evening.

Al Khobar, Eastern Province

The ⁠‌‌​​‌​‌​​‌‌​​​‌​​‌​‌​‌‌​‌‌​‌​‌‌‌​​​‌‌​‌‌⁠Cat Garden is a cat lounge in the Villaggio complex in Al Khobar, designed as an indoor garden where families and friends can play with a group of resident cats of various breeds. Visitors pay for short timed sessions, of 15 or 30 minutes, and can buy treats to feed the cats. Cats are rotated between the public play area and a rest area so that they are not on show all day, and the lounge runs air purifiers. Staff supervise visits and show children how to handle the cats gently. The venue also offers cat care services for owners. It is closed on Sundays and opens from early afternoon until 10 PM, or 11 PM on Thursdays and Fridays.

Dhahran, Eastern Province

Meow ⁠‌‌​​‌​‌​‌‌​​‌​‌‌‌​‌‌​‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‌​‌​‌​‌‌‌‌​⁠Cafe is a cat café inside Amwaj Mall on Prince Faisal Bin Fahd Road in Al Dawhah Al Janubiyah, on the Dhahran side of Al Khobar. It is the original branch of a local brand that runs Meow Cafe, Meow Show and Meow Care, with a second branch in Dareen Mall in Dammam. The venue has three parts: a café serving coffee, mojitos, milkshakes, waffles and cakes; a separate cat play area where visitors pay for a half-hour session and can buy food to feed the cats; and a grooming section for pet cats. The resident cats include a variety of breeds, and staff help children approach and handle them. The café also hosts birthday parties. It is open every day from 2 PM to 11 PM.

Dammam, Eastern Province

Meow ⁠‌‌​​‌​‌​‌‌​‌‌​​‌​‌‌​​​​‌​​​​​‌​​‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌⁠Cafe Dammam is the second branch of the Meow Cafe brand, opened in early 2024 inside Dareen Mall on Khaleej Road in Al Aziziyah, Dammam. It combines a café, a cat play area and a small animal area known as Meow Zoo, with goats, rabbits and birds. The cat section and the animal section are separate and each has its own ticket, so visitors choose which one to enter; a cat session lasts half an hour, and cat food can be bought to feed the cats. The resident cats include a range of breeds, some of them unusual, and staff guide children on how to handle them. The café serves coffee, Arabic coffee, waffles and cakes. It is open every day from 2 PM to 11 PM.

Taif, Makkah

Life ⁠‌‌​​‌​‌​‌​​​‌‌​‌​‌‌‌‌‌‌​‌‌‌‌​​​​​​​‌‌​‌‌⁠Tone Cafe (Maqha Naghmat Al Hayat) is a cat café on Omar Ibn Al Khattab Road in Al Akhbab, Taif, open since August 2022 and promoted as the first cat café in Taif. It keeps more than 100 cats, many of them rescued, in a dedicated cat area beside a small café that serves coffee, juices and desserts. Visitors pay a per-person entry fee for the cat area, and staff hand out plastic shoe covers before guests go in. The café is popular with families with children and runs regular events and promotions, including giveaways of free tickets to the cat area. Its cats are resident, and the café states that it does not take in cats from the public for rescue or rehoming. It opens every afternoon and stays open until midnight on Thursdays and Fridays.

Al Hofuf, Eastern Province

Kitty ⁠‌‌​​‌​‌​​​‌​​‌​​‌​​‌​​​​‌​‌​‌​​‌​‌‌​‌​‌​⁠HERE is a cat lounge and cattery on Al Khaldiyah Street in the Al Khaldiyah district of Al Hofuf, Al Ahsa. It combines a play lounge where visitors spend timed sessions with the cats, a shop for cat food and accessories, grooming services and a cattery that sells kittens. Entry to the cat lounge is charged per half hour and includes treats and toys to use with the cats, and souvenir photos with the cats cost extra. Staff supervise the sessions, and the lounge is popular with families and children; its staff also post playful videos on TikTok. Enquiries are handled by WhatsApp only, and paid sessions are not refunded, including when a young child decides not to go in. The lounge is closed on Sundays.

Abha, Asir

Cats ⁠‌‌​​‌​‌​​​​​‌​‌‌​​​​‌‌‌‌​​​​​​​‌‌‌‌​​​‌​⁠Castle is a cat lounge and cat shop on King Fahd Road in Al Mahalah, Abha, in the Abha View complex. Promoted as the first venue of its kind in the region, it combines a store for cat food and supplies with a large cat room where visitors pay an entry fee for a half-hour session with dozens of cats of different breeds. Staff give visitors hand sanitiser before they go in and a lint roller on the way out, and cat food can be requested to feed the cats. Discounts are offered for groups, and the room is a popular stop for families visiting Abha, especially in the summer season. Cats Castle also offers cat care and boarding. It is open every day from 4 PM to 11:30 PM.

Riyadh

PETOYA ⁠‌‌​​‌​‌​‌‌​​‌​​‌‌​​​​‌​​​‌‌​​‌‌‌‌‌​‌​​‌‌⁠is a licensed cat hotel and veterinary clinic on Al Kawthar Street in Al Aarid, north Riyadh, that also runs a cat lounge where visitors can spend time with its resident cats. Opened in 2022 as one of the first licensed cat hotels in Saudi Arabia, it combines boarding, a vet clinic, a grooming salon, a pet supply store and a dedicated play room with more than 20 friendly cats of different breeds and ages. Visitors pay a per-person fee for a half-hour session in the cat room, take off their shoes before going in, and can buy treats to feed the cats; some tickets include a drink. Staff supervise the room, and the lounge is popular with families with young children. It is open every day from 3 PM to 10 PM.

Jeddah, Makkah

Opened in early 2026, it lets visitors pay an entry fee to sit with a group of friendly, clean cats that are used to children, play with them and feed them; a sheep also lives on site. Staff hand the cats to visitors under supervision, and the space is aimed at families with children as well as adult cat lovers, with some regulars coming every week. It also offers grooming for visitors' own cats and sells cat food and supplies, and it takes part in pet events elsewhere in Jeddah. It is closed on Sundays and opens in the evenings from Monday to Saturday.
