Cat Lounge
Cat Lounge is a cat café on Prince Saud Al Faisal Street in the Rawdah Square block of Al Rawdah, Jeddah. It opened in 2018 in Al Shatea and is widely described as the first cat café in Saudi Arabia; it later moved to its current site. The café keeps a large mixed group of cats, including Sphynx, other pedigree breeds and rescued cats, and stray cats rescued by content creator Dr. Wahid Mohamad are regularly taken in here. The coffee counter and seating area are separated from the cat area by a glass partition. Visitors pay an entry fee for a timed session with the cats, usually half an hour, and drinks, croissants and cakes are sold at the counter. The café is family-friendly and popular with children, and it is open every day from morning until midnight.
