There are 42 cat cafes in Philippines.
Sig Café
Davao City, Davao Del Sur
Sig Café, also called Sigeg Kape, is a small home-style cafe on Lacson Street in Bo. Obrero, Davao City, near the University of Southeastern Philippines. It does not describe itself as a cat cafe, but it is home to the owners' fluffy cats, which wander into the dining room, nap in their favourite corners and keep guests company; staff sometimes let customers feed them. Because the cats come and go as they please, they are not always out. There is no entrance fee or timed session, and the cafe has no Wi-Fi so that guests talk and play instead. The menu includes Spanish latte, matcha, iced Americano, cheesecake and home-cooked rice meals such as chicken teriyaki, at prices aimed at students. The cafe sells its own cat stickers and is open late every day.
Kafih
Davao City, Davao Del Sur
Kafih is a 24-hour study cafe on Medical School Drive in Davao City, near Davao Medical School Foundation, that keeps a group of resident breed cats. The cats roam freely through the dining area and visitors can pet them and take photos; they also have a glass room where they can rest away from guests. There is no entrance fee or timed session, as the cats are part of the everyday cafe. Kafih started as a home kitchen selling rice bowls and serves halal Japanese and Korean-style meals such as oyakodon, katsudon, gyudon and bibimbap, along with coffee, matcha, flower teas and vegetarian options. The cafe has Wi-Fi, plenty of power outlets, private rooms and a second floor, and was recently renovated, which makes it a popular spot for students and remote workers.
The Purrfect Brew
Digos, Davao Del Sur
The Purrfect Brew is a cat cafe on Padillo Street in Digos, Davao del Sur, behind Gaisano Grand Marketplace and near Cor Jesu College. It bills itself as a cozy corner for cats, coffee and study, and its affectionate resident cats move around the cafe and keep guests company while they eat and drink. There is no separate lounge or timed session; visitors simply order and spend time with the cats. The menu includes coffee and matcha lattes, sodas, waffles, buldak noodles and rice meals, and the space is set up for students, study sessions and group hangouts. It is one of the few places in the Davao del Sur provincial capital where visitors can spend time with cats.
Kafé Snowbell
Tagum, Davao Del Norte
Kafé Snowbell is a cat cafe on Circumferential Road near the New City Hall Drive in Apokon, Tagum, beside a Seaoil gas station and easy to spot from the highway thanks to its cat mural. It has a dining area and a separate cat room where visitors spend short timed sessions with the resident cats, most of them fluffy Persians along with newer Siamese cats. Staff give a short orientation before guests enter, socks and masks are required in the cat room, and the cats get regular breaks. Access to the cats is tied to a minimum food and drink purchase per person plus a small fee for the room. The menu includes coffee, desserts such as tiramisu and Dubai cookies, and rice meals, burgers and pasta, and the cafe also lends out books.
Mimoosa Cats Café
Surigao
Mimoosa Cats Café, also listed as Mimosa Cat Café, is a small cat cafe on the second floor of the Laugo Animal Hospital building on Borromeo Street in Barangay Taft, Surigao City, close to the downtown hotels and the road to the port. The cafe serves coffee, matcha lattes, cakes such as tiramisu and light meals in a front dining area, while the cats live in a glass-walled room that visitors can enter for a short paid session. The resident cats are breed cats, many of them Siamese, and some are very affectionate and happy to sit on laps. The cafe was one of the first places in Caraga where the public could spend time with cats and draws visitors from Butuan and travellers heading to Siargao.
The Cattio Café
Naawan, Misamis Oriental
The Cattio Café is a cat cafe and board game cafe on Paulino Ong Road in Naawan, Misamis Oriental, a coastal town about an hour west of Cagayan de Oro and home to a campus of Mindanao State University. It bills itself as the first cat cafe and board game cafe in the town, combining coffee and casual meals with a collection of games and time with the resident cats, which have their own space in the cafe. There is no separate booking system; visitors simply drop in, order and spend time with the cats. The menu includes coffee and other drinks, crepes and affordable snacks, and the cafe is open from late morning until midnight, making it a popular hangout for students.
