ANELLA CAFE Osaka Matsubara is a rescue dog and cat cafe in Taijo, Matsubara, about 7 minutes on foot from Takaminosato Station and 12 minutes from Kawachi-Matsubara Station on the Kintetsu Minami-Osaka Line. Opened on June 26, 2026 as ANELLA's second branch in Osaka Prefecture, it has separate rooms for dogs and cats, where visitors can spend time with rescued animals that are waiting for adoption. Adoptions are handled through ANELLA's own application and screening process, and the animals currently available are listed on the chain's website. No reservation is needed. Visits are charged per 30 minutes with 15-minute extensions, elementary school children, seniors and visitors with disabilities pay reduced rates, and preschoolers enter free. The cafe is open every day. It is also a welfare workplace where staff with disabilities help care for the animals, and grooming is available by appointment.

Neko no Ito is a cat specialist shop in Taijo, Matsubara, about 6 minutes on foot from Takaminosato Station on the Kintetsu Minami-Osaka Line, and has no parking. It is run by a small-scale breeder of large and short-legged breeds, chiefly Ragdolls, Maine Coons, Munchkins and Minuets, and kittens raised at the cattery are sold. Alongside the breeding business the shop runs a cat cafe where visitors can spend time with the cats, charged per hour with one drink included and hourly extensions. Cat grooming and a cat-only pet hotel are offered in the same premises. The shop is open every day, with the cafe operating from late morning to late afternoon. Bookings and enquiries are handled through the shop's LINE account or by phone.
