Open since 2015 and often described as India's first cat cafe, it houses around 30 senior, disabled and special-needs indie cats rescued from the streets of Versova by its partner NGO, The Feline Foundation. The cats are vaccinated and sterilised, and all of them are available for adoption. The cat area is separate from the kitchen and is charged as a single entry fee that covers the whole day, with the money going towards the cats' care. No booking is needed, children aged five and under enter free, and under-15s must come with an adult. The cafe serves coffee, shakes, bagels and baked goods but no alcohol, offers free Wi-Fi, and hosts ticketed workshops and meet-ups. It is closed on Mondays.

Running since late 2022, it pairs an all-day cafe menu of pizzas, pasta, burgers, sandwiches, shakes and coffee with a separate cat area where visitors can play with the cafe's resident cats, around eight of them, mostly Persians and other pedigree breeds. Entry to the cat area is charged per person, and the fee is waived for one guest when the food order passes a set amount. The cats live at the cafe and are not up for adoption. The venue also sells cat food, toys and accessories and offers grooming for cats, and board games are available at the tables. It is open every day from late morning until late at night.

Nine ⁠‌‌​​‌​‌​​​​‌‌​​​‌​‌​‌​​​‌​​​‌​​​‌‌‌​‌​​‌⁠Lives Cat Cafe is a cat cafe in a converted bungalow off Fergusson College Road in Deccan Gymkhana, Pune. It calls itself the city's first cat cafe and opened at the end of 2024. Around 14 to 16 cats live in the cat area, a mix of rescued and adopted cats and pedigree breeds such as Persians, many of them named after spices. Visitors pay a timed entry fee for the cat lounge, with longer passes available, and can order coffee, iced teas, pizzas, sliders, Korean buns and desserts from the cafe menu. Staff supervise the room and ask guests to let the cats approach them rather than pick them up. Children under six are not allowed in the cat area. The cafe also hosts quiz nights, workshops and adoption camps with local rescuers, and is closed on Mondays.

Sakura ⁠‌‌​​‌​‌​​​‌​‌​​​‌​​​​​‌​​​​​‌‌‌‌​‌​‌‌​​‌⁠Cat Cafe is an anime-themed cat cafe on Kingston Avenue in Pimple Saudagar, Pimpri-Chinchwad, opposite Govind Garden. It opened officially in June 2026. The interior is decorated in a Japanese style with katanas and shelves of manga that guests can read over a coffee. The cats are resident pets of the cafe, kept in a separate cat zone where visitors take their shoes off and are introduced to the animals by staff, and they include pedigree cats bought from breeders. The kitchen serves coffee, hot chocolate, ramen, pasta and desserts, and the cafe is popular with families and for small birthday get-togethers. It is open every day except Tuesday.

It opened as a cafe with resident cats, but it now presents itself mainly as a coffee shop and a venue for small gatherings, and there are fewer cats than the name suggests. In autumn 2026 the cafe had one resident cat with a litter of kittens born in September, rather than a group of cats or a separate cat lounge, and there is no entry fee. The menu covers coffee, cold coffee, pastries, sandwiches and ramen, and the colourful interior suits quiet visits and casual meals. Visitors coming mainly to spend time with cats should check with the cafe before making a trip.

Spread over three levels, it keeps resident rescued dogs and cats, with the cats in a separate cat room and the dogs in their own section, and visitors may also bring their own pets. Guests pay a per-person cover charge that is redeemed against food and drinks from a menu of coffee, sandwiches, bowls and desserts, and there is a separate menu of treats for pets. It opened in early 2026. The resident cats, many of them Persians, live in a separate cat room with places to climb and play, and they are neutered. Visitors pay a per-person entry fee for a timed session with the cats, while coffee, snacks and board games are available in the cafe area, where food is ordered separately. The cafe has also hosted community events for local cat owners, such as a cat health show with a costume contest.
