Kitty Cat Café – Refugio de Gatos La Linea De La Concepcion, Andalusia
Kitty Cat Café is a cat cafe and rescue refuge in a large converted unit on Calle del Velero in the El Zabal industrial estate of La Línea de la Concepción, a short drive north of the town centre and the Gibraltar border. Opened in April 2025 by two local residents, it has a cafe with a terrace, a spacious lounge where dozens of rescued cats from La Línea and the Campo de Gibraltar roam freely, and a separate care area for nursing mothers and cats under treatment. All cats are neutered, vaccinated and tested. Casual visitors pay an entry fee that includes a drink, and meals are served in an area away from the cats. Children under five are not admitted to the lounge. Cats can be adopted after screening or sponsored, and the refuge welcomes volunteers and donations of food and supplies.
