Lantong ⁠‌‌​​‌​‌​‌​‌‌​‌‌​‌‌​​​‌​​‌​‌‌‌​‌‌​‌‌‌​​​‌⁠is a cat cafe on the 11th floor of the Nanping Times Building on Baoshan Street, by Nanping pedestrian street and the Golden Eagle mall in central Kunming; the lift is to the left, facing the Xinhua bookshop. More than 30 cats live here, including Ragdolls, Sphynxes, British Shorthairs, Chinchillas, Siamese, Devon Rex and short-legged cats, along with a few dogs. The shop also breeds and sells cats and dogs.

Wangdefu ⁠‌‌​​‌​‌​​​‌​‌‌​​‌‌​​‌​​​​‌‌​‌​‌​​‌​​‌​‌​⁠is a three-storey pet cafe on Wenhua Lane, the student street near Green Lake and Yunnan University. Large and medium dogs are on the ground floor, small dogs on the second floor, where shoes are swapped for slippers, and the cats have the third floor to themselves. Entry is charged by the half hour, and treats can be bought to feed the animals. Staff explain each animal's name and temperament.

Cats share the space with many dogs, including Shiba Inus and Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, an alpaca, a mini pig and rabbits. Visitors buy freeze-dried treats and cat sticks to feed the animals. It is part of the Tata Party chain.
