The cafe has around 18 pedigree cats of breeds such as Maine Coon, Norwegian Forest Cat, Egyptian Mau, Russian Blue, Scottish Fold, Munchkin and American Curl. Visits are charged per hour, two hours or a free-time pass, with self-service drinks included and extensions in 15-minute blocks; children pay less, children under three enter free, and elementary school children must come with an adult. Rescue Cat Cafe necoron
Aizuwakamatsu, Fukushima
Rescue Cat Cafe necoron is a small rescue cat cafe on Noguchi Hideyo Seishun-dori in central Aizuwakamatsu, about 14 minutes on foot from Nanukamachi Station, which opened around the start of 2026. Seven young, playful rescue cats live in the cafe, and the owner also fosters kittens and has already found homes for some of the cats. The room holds only four visitors at a time, so booking a 30-minute slot online in advance is strongly recommended, especially at weekends. Visits are charged per 30 minutes, drinks such as coffee, tea and seasonal specials are optional, and a limited number of cat treats are sold each day. Cat goods are sold at the entrance, and there are books to read. There is no dedicated parking. The cafe is closed on Thursdays.

Aizu Megoneko
Aizuwakamatsu, Fukushima

Visits are charged per 30 minutes or longer, drinks are self-service, and cat treats are sold; a stamp card gives a discounted visit after five stamps. Children on their first visit are limited to 30 minutes, and hand washing is encouraged on the way in and out. Weekdays are usually quiet.
