Yamadaya Neko Time
Yamadaya Neko Time is a small private-rental cat cafe in Minamihatagocho Nishi, Sakai Ward, a very short walk from Goryomae stop on the Hankai Tramway and about 7 minutes on foot from Nankai Minato Station. It occupies a house built around 70 years ago that once served as an acupuncture clinic, and it keeps a Showa-era interior that feels like visiting a grandparent's home. The resident cats are Scottish Folds that live with the one-person operator. Only one group is admitted at a time, and visits are booked in advance through Instagram, LINE, the website form or by phone, with plans from 30 minutes to several hours; longer plans include a cat treat, and there are reduced rates for children. The cafe usually runs from morning to evening on an irregular schedule and may close when there are no bookings. Takoyaki is also made and sold on site.
