Topeka Cat Cafe was a cat cafe and adoption lounge in Suite H at 400 SW 29th Street in Topeka, Kansas. It was founded by Toni Fowler and April Liang and opened in July 2024 in a 1,400-square-foot space with a main cat lounge and a separate kitten room, both booked as paid visits. The cats came from partner rescue organizations and were vaccinated, spayed or neutered and microchipped, and the cafe sold prepackaged food and drinks along with pet supplies in a small gift shop. It also organized an annual Topeka Japanese Celebration at the Kay McFarland Japanese Garden to raise money for its work. More than 850 cats were adopted through the cafe before it closed on June 14, 2026.
