Tobu Zoo Nyanko House
Nyanko House is a cat petting room inside Tobu Zoo, the combined zoo and amusement park in Miyashiro, about 10 minutes on foot from Tobu-Dobutsu-Koen Station on the Tobu Skytree Line. It is part of the Wanko Village area near the zoo's West Gate, next to Wanko House, where visitors can see and touch small dogs. Nyanko House is an indoor room with purebred cats of about seven breeds, including American Shorthairs, Scottish Folds, Chinchillas, Russian Blues and Abyssinians. Visitors can buy a special treat to feed the cats, which usually brings many of them over. Entry to Nyanko House is charged separately on top of zoo admission, so it can only be visited as part of a trip to Tobu Zoo. Wanko Village is open during the daytime, and the zoo's own opening hours and closing days vary by season.
