Teo Cat Café
Teo Cat Café is a cat cafe on Calle Montevideo at Avenida Capitán Ravelo in La Paz, opened in January 2026 by Gisel Rodríguez and presented as the city's first cat cafe. It is divided into a cafe area serving specialty coffee, cold drinks, sandwiches, fast food and pastries, including cappuccinos with a cat face in the foam, and a separate refuge area with play structures and shelves where around 15 rescued cats live. Customers can go into the cat area to play with and stroke the cats under house rules: cats must not be forced to stay or touched on sensitive areas such as the belly, and they may only be given treats approved by staff. The cats come from the owner's shelter and can be adopted, and spending at the cafe supports the shelter. Information and reservations are handled by phone and WhatsApp.

Cochabamba143 mi / 230 km
CatpuCcino is a cat cafe and frappe bar on Avenida Simón López, between J. García and Enrique Arze, diagonally across from the electoral court in northern Cochabamba. Founder Verónica Herrera came up with the idea after visiting cat cafes in Argentina and opened it in June 2025. Three rescued cats live there permanently, joined by rescued cats waiting for adoption, and more than 30 cats have found homes through the cafe. The cats share the room with customers and greet them at the door. Visitors may also bring their own cats, which have a small play park of their own. The menu centres on frappes, smoothies, milkshakes, juices and cappuccinos, with a few savoury snacks.
