Lazy Cat Lounge

Lazy ‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌Cat Lounge is a small community-run cat lounge on Blair Lane, north of Holland, opened in July 2025. Its founder, Wendee, built it on Piper's Palace, a project she began in 2019 after losing her rescue cat Piper. The cat room is upstairs, with cat trees, toys, open space and a wall of profiles of the resident cats, all of which come from local rescue partners and are available for adoption. Downstairs, a consignment shop sells pet supplies and goods from local makers to support the lounge, and an online affiliate shop adds to its funding. Visitors pay a flat admission, with reduced rates for students, teachers, military members and seniors, and are not limited to a short timed session. Inexpensive drinks and snacks are available. The lounge keeps limited afternoon hours four days a week and hosts community events.
