Kocury Cafe
Kocury Cafe is a cat cafe in a gateway at ul. Piotrkowska 51, on Łódź's main street. It opened on 24 October 2026, run by the team behind Koci Mietka, the Koszalin cat cafe that closed at the end of August 2026 after eight years; the cafe's Facebook page is the old Koci Mietka page, and its "chairman" is Mustafa, one of the Koszalin cats. It works with the Łódź animal shelter as a foster home: about seven cats and kittens of different ages lived there in its first week, and they can be adopted. The cats have scratching posts, toys and sleeping places, and the house rules ask guests not to wake the cats or pick them up. The menu has coffee, matcha, teas, cakes, desserts, breakfasts and sandwiches, many with cat-themed names. It is open every day from 9 AM to 9 PM.

Herbaciarnia Kocie Oczy is a tea room with resident cats in a courtyard off ul. Piotrkowska 25, at the northern end of Łódź's main street near Plac Wolności. It is the permanent home of six female cats, who move freely between the guest room and resting places out of reach, so they can choose when to make contact. The interior resembles a grandmother's flat, full of trinkets, crocheted doilies, old furniture and cat motifs. The menu lists dozens of teas, served in house-shaped pots, plus coffee, hot chocolate, apple pie, cheesecake and cat-shaped cookies. Guests enter through a double door that staff open one at a time. The room is small, so there can be a short wait to get in. Weekend sessions for children are run with a cat behaviourist.
