Kattencafé 't Visje

Kattencafé 't Visje in central Zutphen, Gelderland, is a volunteer-run cafe shared with seven resident cats. Most came from shelters and were selected for life in a public setting. Guests pass through an entry airlock before reaching the cats, which helps keep them safely indoors. The menu includes Brute Bonen coffee, tea, cakes and sandwiches, with vegan and gluten-friendly choices available. The cafe sometimes holds game nights and other small events. Its cats are permanent residents and are not available for adoption. Outside animals require advance permission. Reservations are recommended because limiting visitor numbers gives the cats room to retreat and helps the cafe maintain a quiet environment. The cafe opens Wednesday through Saturday and closes on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday.
