Jack's Cat Cafe
Jack's Cat Cafe is a rescue shelter with a small garden cafe on Tống Văn Sương in Hội An Đông, Hoi An, run by the UK-registered charity Vietnam Cat Welfare and named after its first rescue. It is home to about 105 cats saved from neglect, abuse or unsafe conditions, and the cats are also available for adoption. Visits are by booking only, for one hour on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm. Entry is 150,000 VND per person, free for children under five, and includes an iced jasmine tea; the small vegan menu adds coconut coffee, homemade juices and teas, but food is no longer served since the shelter moved to its current site. Payment is cash only. House rules: no flash photography, no picking up cats, no loud noise, and let the cats come to you. All proceeds fund rescue, medical care and sterilisation.
