DeLand Cat Cafe
DeLand Cat Cafe is a cat adoption lounge on East New York Avenue in DeLand, West Volusia County's only cat cafe. Its building is split in two: one side is the cage-free cat lounge and the other is Trilogy Kitchen, a coffee shop serving breakfast and lunch, so visitors order coffee, tea or food there and carry it into the cat area. The lounge is set up like a living room, with Wi-Fi, books and a separate kitten room where visits are kept short. Adult cats and kittens are fostered for several Volusia County rescues and can be adopted. Admission is charged per person per hour, with a lower price for children 12 and under. Reservations are made on the website, and walk-ins are not guaranteed entry. The cat lounge is open Wednesday to Sunday from late morning to mid-afternoon, and a dog-friendly patio has outdoor seating.
