Daily Mews Cat Cafe was a cat cafe on Monroe Road in Charlotte's Oakhurst area, opened in April 2018 by Tamara Leicester, an interior designer, and her husband. A cafe serving coffee, espresso drinks, beer, wine and locally made pastries was separated from the cat lounge by a double-door airlock, and guests could take food and drinks inside. The lounge had a shelf "superhighway" running its length, cat trees at both ends, garden windows facing bird feeders and a retreat room for the cats' food and litter boxes. All of its cats were adoptable, and nearly 600 found homes over six years; the cafe also offered cat boarding. The owners announced the closure on March 18, 2024, citing recent challenging events, and it closed on March 31, 2024.

The Humane Society of Charlotte runs a small cat cafe inside the retail center of its animal resource center on Parker Drive in west Charlotte, near Westover Hills.
