coma terrace

coma terrace is a rescue cat cafe in a converted family house in Horikawa, Hadano. Opened in September 2026, it works with the rescue group Odawara Cat Aid, and adoption involves a questionnaire, an interview, a home visit and a two-week trial. The cafe room has a curved built-in bench, cat stairs and high refuges for the cats, and a rescue cat named Komame serves as store manager. Visits are charged per 30 minutes, slightly more at weekends, with lower prices for children and a drink order required; part of the revenue goes to the cats' care. The menu is health-conscious, with raw sweets and raw chocolate made by the owner, who teaches them. Reservations are required, through LINE up to the day before or by phone on the day. There is parking for two cars, and the cafe is closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
