Cocoa Kitties Catio
Cocoa Kitties Catio is the indoor cat lounge of Cocoa Kitties, an all-volunteer cat rescue based near Hershey, on West Main Street in Palmyra. After years as a purely foster-based rescue, the group opened the Catio in 2026 so the public could spend time with its adoptable cats and kittens in a relaxed, home-like room. Visits last about 50 minutes and are booked online for a small donation that includes coffee or hot chocolate, and walk-ins are possible when space allows. Guests wear socks in the lounge, may bring their own food but should not feed the cats, and children aged 5 and up must be supervised by an adult. All cats are available for adoption through the rescue, and visit fees help pay for veterinary care, food and litter. The Catio also hosts a free monthly silent book club with the cats.

LanCATster Cat Cafe
Lancaster, Pennsylvania24 mi / 39 km
LanCATster Cat Cafe is Lancaster's first cat cafe, on North Duke Street in the downtown area. Queer- and woman-owned and opened in spring 2025 by Jax and Bender, it aims to be a welcoming third space, especially for the LGBTQIA+ community, where people can relax with adoptable rescue cats. The cafe serves coffee, tea and pastries and can be visited without a booking, but reservations are required for the cat lounge. Lounge sessions last 50 minutes and start on the hour, with up to eight guests per session. Shoes and bare feet are not allowed in the lounge, so visitors wear socks or shoe covers. Children aged 7 and older are welcome, with one ticketed adult for each child under 18. The lounge closes from 1 to 2 pm for the cats' siesta. Every adopted cat goes home with a custom portrait by a local artist.

Coaster Cats Cat Cafe
Carlisle, Pennsylvania31 mi / 51 km
Coaster Cats Cat Cafe is a cat cafe on North Hanover Street in downtown Carlisle, a short walk from the town square. It took over the former Round-A-Bout Bagels cat cafe in 2026 under new owners Roxy and Nick Moseley, a husband-and-wife team whose love of roller coasters gave the cafe its name; it is a separate business from the previous owner. Visitors pay timed admission, in 30- or 60-minute slots with lower prices for children, to spend time with adoptable cats from Furry Friends Animal Rescue, and drinks and snacks such as specialty lattes and bagels are bought separately. Reservations through the online booking page are suggested, especially on weekends, though walk-ins are welcome when there is space. Every guest needs a ticket and a signed waiver, and children 12 and under need a chaperone. The cafe runs regular events, such as book nights, teen nights and movie nights.
