Cat on Canvas Studio
Cat on Canvas is a family-run art jamming studio with resident cats in Spazio@Kovan on Upper Serangoon Road, beside Kovan MRT. The cats belong to the owners' household and include Kiko, Tiger and Black, joined recently by younger cats such as Miso. Visitors book semi-guided acrylic painting sessions in the studio while the cats wander, nap and sometimes sit beside the canvases, and the hosts help beginners with their artwork and take photos of guests with the cats. Each session includes a canvas, paints and a drink, and cat treats can be bought when the cats' feeding schedule allows. Sessions last about two hours for adults and shorter for children; children seven and older may attend on their own, and younger children need a parent present. Guests may not pick up or chase the cats. All sessions are by appointment via WhatsApp or phone.

From about April to September the sanctuary is full of kittens; the rest of the year around 25 teenage to senior cats live there. All the cats are available for adoption. Visitor numbers per section are limited, every child needs a ticket and must come with an adult, and slots cannot be changed once booked.

The Block Bouquets Cat Cafe
Singapore, Central2.9 mi / 4.7 km
The Block Bouquets Cat Cafe is a craft studio on the second floor of a shophouse on Geylang Road, between Kallang and Aljunied MRT stations, where visitors build everlasting flower bouquets from plastic bricks in the company of resident cats. The business began as a brick-bouquet shop; customers kept playing with the owner's cat while they worked, so the shop added a cat cafe and reopened in revamped premises in 2026. Several cats, including rescued and adopted ones, roam the cat level, and a separate cat-free area is available for guests who only want to build. Visits are booked as timed bouquet-building sessions, with or without cats, and ready-made bouquets, DIY kits and gifts are sold in the shop. The studio also hosts corporate and private events. Booking ahead is recommended.
