Cat Cafe Mocha Himeji is a branch of the MOCHA cat cafe chain on the sixth floor of Piole 1, the shopping building at JR Himeji Station, one minute's walk from the station's north exit and two minutes from Sanyo Himeji Station. About 18 pedigree cats live here, and they are fed at 11 AM and 7 PM. No reservations are taken. Entry covers the first 30 minutes and the drink bar: ¥1,045 on weekdays and ¥1,210 at weekends and on holidays, then ¥220 or ¥275 per extra 10 minutes, capped at ¥3,025 or ¥3,355 (tax included, October 2026). Visitors must be 6 or older, and children below junior-high age must come with a guardian, up to three per adult. It is open from 10 AM to 8 PM (last entry 7:30 PM) and closes when the building does. Treats can be bought to give the cats, no meals are served, and visitors are asked not to chase or pick up the cats or use flash.
