Cat House & Co is a cat lounge, cat hotel and pet shop in the Marina Square shopping centre on Footbridge Boulevard at Wentworth Point, across the Bennelong Bridge from Rhodes. Visitors book hourly sessions in its indoor cat playground, where a group of resident purebred and mixed cats can be patted, played with and fed healthy treats. Each session starts with a short induction on the house rules, and shoes are changed and hands sanitised on entry. Visitors must be 5 or older, and children 12 and under need a paying adult with them; children pay a lower rate, and weekend and public holiday prices are slightly higher. The business also boards cats and sells cat food, litter and toys, and it sells purebred kittens sourced directly from breeders. Birthday parties can be held in the lounge.

Paw Haus is a rescue cat room and pet cafe on Liverpool Road in Enfield, near Burwood, where rescue cats and kittens wait for adoption upstairs. The ground-floor cafe, now run as The Gentle Bean, serves coffee, brunch dishes and a separate menu for dogs, and dogs enter from the rear lane. The cat cuddle room is charged by time and can be booked online or visited as a walk-in, and its cats come from rescue groups, mainly Kittie Kat Rescue, already desexed and vaccinated; more than a hundred have been adopted since the cafe opened in 2024. People who want to adopt on the day are asked for a walk-through video of their home, and cats go only to indoor homes. Under-10s need an adult with them. The same business runs a second cat room at its Bubble Bath dog wash in Wentworth Point.

YUMIAO Cat Cafe is a cat cafe on O'Dea Avenue in Waterloo, next to Kennards Self Storage and a short walk from Green Square Station. It is named after the owner's British Shorthair, who died of FIP in 2019.
