Opened in May 2025 as the chain's first branch in Hokuriku, it belongs to the ANELLA group, whose cafes give rescued dogs and cats a home while they wait for new families, and adoptions are arranged through ANELLA's own process. A handful of rescued cats live in a bright, living-room-like cat room separated from the dog room by a door. Visits are charged per 30 minutes with 15-minute extensions, elementary school children, seniors and visitors with disabilities pay reduced rates, and preschoolers enter free. In August 2023 the cafe moved into a larger purpose-built building with a shelter attached, and the group now cares for 70 to 90 cats, with many young cats in the cafe room. Visits are charged per 30 minutes, per hour or as free time with a drink, there is a plan for families with children, and treats can be added. Socks are required, and first-time visitors read the house rules at reception. Closing days are irregular and the cafe may close at short notice for cat health or snow, so calling ahead is advised. Cat Cafe nyanchi
Kanazawa, Ishikawa43 mi / 69 km
Cat Cafe nyanchi is a small cat cafe in Yokaichidemachi, in the south-west of Kanazawa, about 14 minutes on foot from Nishi-Kanazawa Station. It moved to its current, smaller premises in February 2026, with a few parking spaces in front on a busy road. The cats are rescued cats and they live here as house cats rather than trained cafe cats, so some are lively and some prefer to nap, while treats bought at the counter bring the whole room running. Visits are charged by time, drinks can be ordered separately, socks are required and picking up the cats is not allowed. The cafe is for elementary school children and older, and preschoolers can visit only on kids' days on the second and fourth Sundays. Because the room is small, booking ahead is requested, and opening times sometimes change at short notice and are announced on social media.

Adoption requires at least three visits, a short screening and a two-week home trial. The cafe opens Friday to Monday and closes Tuesday to Thursday.
