Affogatto
Affogatto is an Italian-style coffee shop and cat rescue cafe at the corner of Wolfe and Fleet Streets in Fells Point, Baltimore, opened in May 2025 as the city's only cat cafe. Half the space is a cafe serving espresso, tea, snacks and ice cream, with books, local art and cat toys for sale. The other half is a separate cat lounge where visitors book short, low-cost sessions with adoptable kittens under staff supervision. Usually 4 to 12 kittens are in residence, grouped by litter and taken in from regional shelters such as the Humane Society of Harford County, Frederick County Humane Society and Baltimore Humane Society. More than 200 cats have been rehomed. Up to six guests can be in the lounge at once, each needs a booking, and visitors must be at least 3.
