My Cat Yugawara
Yugawara, Kanagawa
My Cat Yugawara is a cat cafe inside a Japanese-style inn in Fukuura, Yugawara, near Manazuru Station. About 30 cats, including American Shorthairs, Munchkins, Selkirk Rexes and Scottish Folds, live on the ground floor. Overnight guests can choose a cafe cat to spend the night with in their room, while day visitors can use the cat cafe on its own, charged by the hour with 30-minute extensions; inn guests receive a discount. The cafe opens from midday into the evening, with no entry during the cats' late-afternoon mealtime, and closing days are irregular. Visitors are asked to get in touch by email in advance and to bring ID. The inn also offers cat boarding, and a cafe cat can be taken home on trial. It belongs to the same group as My Cat Yokohama.
