Annie's ⁠‌‌​​‌​‌​​​​​‌​​‌​‌​‌‌​‌‌‌​​​​​​​​‌‌‌​​‌‌⁠Attic is a thrift shop and cat cafe on Main Street in Winnipeg's North End, run in support of D'Arcy's Animal Rescue Centre (D'Arcy's ARC), a local cat and dog rescue charity. It opened in 2021 as the city's first combined thrift store and cat cafe. The shop sells second-hand clothing, household goods and other donated items, and a small cafe counter serves coffee and baked goods from Goodies Bake Shop and Gunn's Bakery. A separate cat lounge holds adoptable cats from D'Arcy's ARC, and entry is by a small minimum donation. Reservations are not taken, and time limits may apply when the lounge is busy. Cats that visitors want to adopt are adopted through D'Arcy's ARC. All proceeds from the shop, cafe and lounge go to the rescue.

Gallery ⁠‌‌​​‌​‌​‌​‌‌‌‌​‌‌​‌‌​‌​​​‌​​‌​‌‌​‌‌​‌‌‌​⁠39 is a rescue cat art gallery on St. Anne's Road in Winnipeg's Glenwood area, run as part of Lizzy B's. It works like a cat cafe without food or drink: visitors pay admission for a 50-minute visit in a quiet gallery of original work by local artists, where adoptable rescue cats live full-time. The cats come from the rescues K9 Advocacy and Hello Whiskers, and adoptions go through the rescue. The gallery keeps a small number of cats, starting with around four to eight, and they have private areas that visitors cannot enter. Visitors may pet cats that approach them but not pick them up, chase them or wake them. Admission includes a cat treat, and children under 3 enter free. Booking ahead online is strongly recommended, as walk-ins are not guaranteed and evening slots may close if nothing is booked by late afternoon.
