The cat room is upstairs on the second floor, and entry costs around 25,000 IDR for adults and 15,000 IDR for children (2026). The cafe also rehomes cats, and adoptions and visits can be arranged through its Instagram account. It is popular with students and opens from 12 PM to 9 PM, Tuesday to Sunday.

It pairs a coffee shop and restaurant with a clean, air-conditioned cat area where guests can play with and feed the resident cats, which include British Shorthairs, Persians, Exotic Shorthairs, Himalayans and Maine Coons. Ice cream is not sold on its own, and it cannot be eaten inside the cat room. Cat treats cost Rp10,000. The room is small and enclosed. Visitors may not bring their own cats.

Visitors leave their shoes outside, change into the sandals provided and wash their hands before going in, and the cats are chubby and well groomed. The menu covers coffee and non-coffee drinks, including the Cat Coffee Milk and a Catpuccino with cat latte art, along with Kitty Pancakes, waffles with ice cream and calzone-style pizza. There is also a photobox and outdoor seating. The cat room opens from 10 AM to 10 PM on weekdays and from 8 AM to 11 PM on Saturdays and Sundays.

A large group of cats lives in the cafe, from domestic cats to Persians, Maine Coons, Scottish and Munchkin cats, and they share the room with guests, who can play with and cuddle them while they eat. No reservation is needed. House rules ask visitors to clean their hands, change their footwear, avoid giving the cats outside food and leave sleeping cats alone. The kitchen serves rice dishes such as nasi gila and chicken buttermilk, spaghetti, burgers, salt bread and coffee, with mains at around 25,000 to 38,000 IDR and coffee from 15,000 IDR as of 2025. Running since at least 2017, it combines a veterinary clinic, grooming salon, cat hotel, day care and cat shop with a cat cafe and play area where visitors can spend time with the resident cats. Entry to the cat area costs around 40,000 IDR per hour as of 2026, and staff hand out cat treats so that guests can feed the cats, which eagerly approach anyone holding a snack. Drinks and simple food are served, and the waiting area is comfortable and clean. The centre handles cats only, with no dogs on site. Kittens are also sold. The centre opens daily from 8 AM to 5:30 PM; on Fridays the cat area opens at 2 PM, after Friday prayers.

Sersan Bajuri in Cihideung, Parongpong, on the cool northern edge of Bandung. It occupies a two-storey building with vintage wooden decor, garden seating and a small stream running below. The cafe is home to a large group of resident cats, many of them rescued from the street, neutered and wearing collars with their names. They wander freely among the tables and are generally calm and happy to be petted. Several rabbits live in a garden area. There is no entry ticket: visitors order from a long, inexpensive menu of coffee, chocolate and lemonade drinks, cireng, fries with sausages, fish and chips and Indonesian rice dishes. Guests may also bring their own pets. Smoking is allowed in the open areas and car parking is limited. The cafe opens daily from 9 AM to 11:30 PM.

Bandung, West Java

Bukit Pakar Utara in Ciburial, in the green hills of Dago Pakar above Bandung, close to the Djuanda forest park. The small indoor room is filled with plants and books, and most seating is in a leafy garden. A group of friendly resident cats roams both areas and settles on laps and chairs; a cat named Pedro is the best known. There is no entry fee: guests order from a healthy-leaning menu known for smoothie bowls, plus okonomiyaki, croffles, pumpkin soup, juices and coffee. The cafe is popular in the mornings and on weekends, the access path can be slippery after rain, and some guests smoke in the open-air seating. It opens daily from 7:30 AM to 11 PM.
