Ya Shang is a book cafe and cat cafe in the Likoushan Rural Lounge, a converted courtyard complex in Wangjiatuan Village in the Likou Mountain scenic area west of central Weihai. The lounge opened on 8 March 2026 and also holds a ginger culture museum, a Chinese-style ginger tea bar and the Yashang grill. The cat room has dozens of gentle cats of mixed breeds, and visitors can sit with a drink and a book while the cats wander around. Staff say the rooms are disinfected regularly. Holidays bring many families with children.

Mao Mi Sen Lin (Cat Forest) is a cat cafe and craft shop on Huanhai Road in Weihai's Torch Hi-tech Zone, across the road from the Diwanggong beach, with big windows looking out to sea and sunsets.
