Rosie's Kitty Catfé

Rosie's Kitty Catfé is a donation-based cat café in Washington Township, in northern Macomb County, located on 26 Mile Road next to a 7-Eleven just before Stony Creek Metropark. It opened in 2022 as Macomb County's first cat café and has since moved to this location. Most of its free-roaming cats and kittens come from partner Meow and Furever Cat Rescue, and all are vetted, microchipped and spayed or neutered before adoption, which can be arranged in the café or online. Visits are by appointment on a limited schedule of evenings and selected weekend days, with walk-ins welcome when there is space, so checking the online calendar before going is advisable. Coffee, tea or hot cocoa is included with the donation at the door. Guests must be 9 or older, and anyone under 15 needs an adult. Yoga with cats and painting events are held regularly.
