This unique space offers 50-minute sessions for visitors to interact with adoptable rescue cats from Queen City Cats, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, in a cozy, BYO (bring your own food and drink) environment, with pricing starting at $15 to support cat care. Opened in July 2024 by founders Miche Faust and Kristina Madarang Stahl—both certified feline behaviorists with decades of animal welfare experience—the lounge combines relaxation with purpose, hosting events like cat yoga, paint and nip, and welfare workshops while showcasing local art in its boutique. With a no-shoes policy, a focus on socialization for cats and humans alike, and a mission to find forever homes for its feline residents, Queen City Cat Lounge provides a purr-fect retreat for cat lovers to unwind and make a difference in Burlington’s vibrant New North End.
