Cat's Cafe by JB Cafe
Phuket
Cat's Cafe by JB Cafe is a cat cafe on Phuket Road in Phuket Old Town, run alongside the JB Old Town Stay guesthouse. It used to be in Patong and reopened in town in mid-2026 in a bright, modern and airy cat room. Around 20 cats live here, about half of them large, fluffy Maine Coons, along with a few rescued street cats, and they are calm, well fed and used to visitors. Entry is by a fee that includes a drink of your choice, with coffee and other cafe drinks on the menu. Socks are handed out free if you need them, and cat food is provided so guests can feed the cats. Visitors can stay as long as they like, and the relaxed, unhurried atmosphere makes it an easy break from sightseeing in the old town.
B Cat Café
Phuket
B Cat Café on Thep Krasattri Road in Phuket Town opened in 2014 and is Phuket's original cat cafe. It works as a cafe and restaurant up front, with a separate cat room behind where the resident cats live, a mix of breeds kept well groomed and relaxed by staff who play with them throughout the day. Visiting the cat room costs a fee: around 150 baht for the cats only, or about 180 to 189 baht including a drink. Cats should not be picked up. The kitchen serves Thai and Western dishes such as fried papaya salad and tom yum seafood spaghetti, plus cakes, smoothies and Thai milk tea, many with cat-themed presentation. It is an easy stop on a walk around the old town and popular with families.
Up To You Cat Café
Phuket
Up To You Cat Café is a small cat cafe on Hat Patong Road in Patong, a few minutes' walk from the beach, inside the Up2You (Meow Cat Cafe & Hotel) guesthouse. The cats live in a separate room of around 20 square metres at the back, roughly eight to ten of them, including several Maine Coons and some rescued cats whose stories are posted on the wall. Entry costs around 100 to 150 baht and includes a free drink or a pack of cat treats, and guests can sit with the cats, feed them and play with toys. Automatic feeders keep the cats fed through the day. The front of the cafe serves coffee and soft drinks, and the cat room makes a quiet break from the bustle of Patong.
Top Cat Café
Phuket
Top Cat Café in Kathu, between Phuket Town and Patong, is a cosy coffee shop combined with a home for rescued cats. More than 30 cats of different ages, personalities and breeds live here, including exotic and hairless Sphynx cats, and the owner has rescued most of them. The cats are relaxed and choose who to approach, often curling up on laps. Entry is 200 baht; clean socks are provided at the door, staff explain the rules, and chicken treats for the cats cost about 30 baht extra. If a cat scratches by accident during feeding, staff will clean it and give you a plaster. The cafe side serves coffee, iced lattes, strawberry matcha, desserts and thick milkshakes, the house favourite. It is family-friendly and easy to spend an afternoon in.
Doo Cat Cafe Phuket
Phuket
Doo Cat Cafe Phuket in Rawai, in the south of the island, is home to more than 100 cats, many of them rescued, which makes it one of the biggest cat cafes on the island. The spacious, air-conditioned rooms are kept clean, with a separate area for long-haired cats, and the cats are friendly, healthy and happy to sit on laps. Visitors who order from the menu can stay with the cats, while those who don't order pay a 150 baht entry fee. There is no rush to leave, and many guests end up staying a couple of hours. The cafe serves specialty coffee, cold drinks, desserts and rice dishes, and every visit helps pay for the cats' food and veterinary care.
JUDY Cat & Cafe
Hat Yai, Songkhla
JUDY Cat & Cafe is a small, minimalist cat cafe in Kho Hong, Hat Yai. The cafe keeps the bar and the cat lounge apart for hygiene, so you can enjoy your drink and cake in the cafe zone and then spend time in the air-conditioned cat room with about 15 friendly cats of more than five breeds. There is currently no entry fee, but there is a minimum order of 100 baht per person, and cat treats are available for feeding. Staff show first-time visitors how to play with the cats. The menu covers coffee, cocoa, fruit smoothies, homemade cakes and bakery items. The shop also offers cat grooming and a cat hotel, and the owners donate part of their income to help stray dogs and cats.
The Colony Cafe
Hat Yai, Songkhla
The Colony Cafe is a long-running neighbourhood coffee shop tucked away in the Thai Akhan area of central Hat Yai, where, as the cafe puts it, the cats are the real owners. Six or seven resident cats live here, and the cat gang has its own space on the second floor that guests can go up to, with Latte the best-known of the crew. Most of the cats are gentle and affectionate, though a few prefer to keep to themselves. The cafe was recently renovated in white tones and serves fresh coffee, cocoa, mocha and other drinks, plus pizza, nachos and simple dishes at modest prices. It is a quiet, unhurried spot, especially on weekday mornings, and suits anyone who wants an easy hour with the cats.
Carameaw Cafe
Phatthalung
Carameaw Cafe is a small cat cafe in a little house on a side road just outside central Phatthalung, easy to spot by its cat-shaped window. Inside there is a cafe area and a separate cat room where around six cats live. They are plump, friendly and happy to be stroked, and children love them. There is no entry fee: order one drink per person and you can go into the cat room. The menu has coffee, Burmese-style milk tea, roasted-rice matcha and other drinks, plus cakes and simple food, and board games are available to play. Parking is on the street in front of the cafe.
Cat Café Rescued Cats 2 (Chaweng)
Koh Samui, Surat Thani
Cat Café Rescued Cats 2 is the cat cafe at the Chaweng shelter of the Dog and Cat Rescue Samui Foundation, a non-profit that has cared for Ko Samui's street animals since 1999. It sits in a residential lane a short walk from Chaweng Beach and opened in 2026 as a calm, thoughtfully designed room with a whole wall of climbing space for the cats. All the cats were rescued from the street, and they are playful, well cared for and used to visitors. Entry is by donation, and drinks are offered for a small contribution. Visitors can also look round the shelter, and the foundation rehomes cats and dogs, so ask the staff if you are thinking of adopting. All proceeds support the foundation's rescue and veterinary work.

Soft drinks, iced coffee and coffee are self-service and paid for by a small donation, and there is fast free Wi-Fi. Food is not served, since cats share the room. On the way in you pass the dog runs, and you are welcome to look round the rest of the shelter. Every visit helps pay for the foundation's work with Samui's stray dogs and cats.

Huanom Cathub
Nakhon Ratchasima
Huanom Cathub is a homely cat cafe on Soi Yu Ruai 1 in the Hua Thale area of Nakhon Ratchasima (Korat), near the Hua Thale–Maroeng junction. The owners describe it as being like playing with cats at a friend's house, and the small, cosy space is home to dozens of resident cats from many different breeds, most of them affectionate and happy to curl up next to visitors. Entry costs a modest 25 baht, and staff explain the house rules for handling the cats when you arrive. Unlike many cat cafes, Huanom serves proper meals as well as drinks and desserts: favourites include rice with creamy omelette and grilled pork, Thai tea and Oreo frappés, all at friendly prices. Cat snacks are available if you want to win over the residents, and there is free parking on the street and in a lot nearby.
Fat Cat Cafe & Hotel Korat
Nakhon Ratchasima
Fat Cat Cafe & Hotel is a cat cafe and cat hotel on Mittraphap–Nong Khai Road in central Nakhon Ratchasima (Korat), not far from Makro. True to its name, the cafe's cat room is home to around ten plump, sociable cats, nearly all British Shorthairs, who greet visitors by rubbing their heads against them and are happy to be stroked. There is no entry fee: each guest simply orders one food or drink item before heading up to the cats, and the menu of drinks and snacks such as French fries is reasonably priced. The cat room is compact but clean; visitors sensitive to cat hair may want to bring a mask. Alongside the cafe, the business runs a cat hotel with air-conditioned VIP rooms, wall-mounted climbing shelves and staff on site around the clock, so owners can also board their own cats here.
Check each cafe's website for current hours, booking requirements and age restrictions before visiting.
