Neko Cafe Manbou
Shime, Fukuoka
Neko Cafe Manbou is a small cat cafe in Shime Chuo, in the town of Shime in Kasuya District, east of Fukuoka City. It is a relaxed, home-style space with a shelf of manga, aimed at families, couples and solo visitors who want to spend time with a group of friendly, people-oriented cats. Visitors can choose a 45-minute plan or a free-time plan that includes a drink, with separate rates for adults, junior and senior high school students, and elementary school children, and higher prices on weekends and holidays. Cat treats can be bought on site, and outside food and drink are not allowed. Guests are asked to remove strong perfume or fabric softener scents before entering, to use no flash and not to chase the cats. Advance booking is available online, and there is parking nearby.
