Nekos Cube 方塊貓 is a cat experience space on the second floor of 454 Castle Peak Road in Cheung Sha Wan, about nine minutes on foot from Exit C2 of Cheung Sha Wan MTR Station. Originally opened in Tsuen Wan, it now runs from this walk-up unit, reached by a steep staircase. Around 19 resident cats live here, including several large Maine Coons alongside local mixed-breed cats, and visitors sit with them on an open tatami-style floor rather than at tables. Entry is charged by the hour and includes self-service snacks and drinks; there is no coffee, though cheesecake is sold. Staff brief each visitor on how to read cat body language and respect each cat's boundaries before entering. Visitors must be six or older. Walk-ins are accepted and online booking is available. The team also runs cat behaviour and life-education workshops for schools, NGOs and community groups.

Lai Chi Kok, Sham Shui Po

URBAN Cafe Lai Chi Kok is the largest branch of the URBAN Cafe group, a restaurant-style cat cafe on the first floor of Lai Sun Commercial Centre on Cheung Sha Wan Road, about five minutes on foot from Exit B1 of Lai Chi Kok MTR Station. Opened in 2023, the 7,000-square-foot space is home to around 40 to 60 cats, most of them rescued strays or abandoned pets cared for with the group's vet team and partner animal welfare groups. There is no entry fee: each guest orders at least one item from a menu of pasta, rice dishes, steaks, pizza, desserts and drinks, with a per-person minimum spend at busier times and a service charge. Shoe covers and hand sanitising are required before entering. A separate pet-friendly zone lets guests bring their own dogs. Cats can be adopted through the group, and bookings are taken online or walk-in.
