Taman Hati Studio & Cafe
Petaling Jaya, Selangor
Taman Hati Studio & Cafe is a plant studio and cafe on the first floor of a shoplot in SS2, Petaling Jaya, filled with greenery and home to four resident cats, all rescued and neutered former strays who roam freely among the tables. Entry is free, though visitors are expected to order. The cafe serves espresso drinks, teas, lemonade and matcha with cakes, croffles and light meals such as lasagna, and sells indoor plants and terrariums. Its signature activity is terrarium making: DIY jars cost RM20 to RM80 per person and are available on a walk-in basis, or you can book a fully guided workshop for yourself or a group. The space also hosts monthly weekend markets, game nights, craft sessions and private events. Taman Hati began as a home-based terrarium business, opened in Bangsar in 2018 and moved to SS2 in 2022.

The Furry Palace Catfe is a cat cafe on the first floor of a shoplot in Damansara Perdana, Petaling Jaya, sharing the floor with the Barbersky barbershop; searching for Barbersky Damansara Perdana in Waze is the easiest way to find it. Opened in September 2025, it bills itself as the ultimate destination for cat lovers, with cuddles from a group of friendly resident cats that visitors describe as gentle and not inclined to bite, plus drinks, coffee and snacks in a relaxed, homely setting. It is a good stop for a quiet break with feline company, and visitors can reserve by sending the cafe a direct message on Instagram.
DD Purrfect Nest
Kajang, Selangor
DD Purrfect Nest is a cat hotel with its own cat cafe, Kopi & Koocing, on the ground floor of a shop block in Taman Kajang Perdana, Kajang, a short hop from the highway. The bright, quiet, air-conditioned lounge is home to the owner's friendly, fluffy resident cats, who wander among the seats and are happy to be petted. The cats are of various breeds, including Maine Coons and fluffy Angoras, and are known for being calm, well-behaved and playful with children. The playground is a clean, comfortable space where visitors, including children, can relax over ice cream and drinks while the cats come to play. Playground sessions can be booked by phone.
