It is run by a mother-and-daughter team, and its more than 20 cats are a mix of rescued strays and pedigrees such as Maine Coons, Sphynxes, Siamese and British Shorthairs. Many of the rescues are available for adoption. There is no entrance fee or time limit, but each visitor must order at least one item from the menu of coffee, matcha, fruit drinks, bingsu, cakes and simple meals such as chicken karaage and fries. Cat treats cost RM5, wand toys are free to use, and board games and Uno are available. Visitors are asked not to pick up the cats.

MIAO ⁠‌‌​​‌​‌​​​​‌‌‌​​‌‌​​‌‌​‌​​​​​‌​‌​​​‌​​​‌⁠CAFE x S.TEA is a Muslim-friendly cat cafe upstairs in Block A of Residensi Cheras Selatan, on Jalan Dataran Cheras 7 in Balakong, Cheras, Selangor. About 20 Maine Coons live there and are happy to be cuddled and photographed. There is no entrance fee, but each guest orders from the menu. Basement parking costs RM1 an hour, and staff will come down to guide older visitors or young children to the lift. It is open daily from 11 AM to 11 PM, except on Mondays, its cleaning day, when it opens at 2 PM (or at 11 AM if the Monday is a public holiday).
