Murki is a cat cafe on Gagarin Street in Samarkand, set in a basement space west of the city centre. Opened in 2025 and presented as the first cat cafe in the city, it combines a coffee shop with a small cinema room where guests can pick a film to watch, while several resident cats and kittens wander among the sofas and armchairs. Coffee, lemonades, cocktails and desserts are ordered from the menu, and there are board games and a corner for children. The cafe suits a quiet evening, working on a laptop or a family outing, and it stays open from the morning until the early hours every day.
