My Cat Café
Ribeirao Preto, São Paulo
My Cat Café is a cat cafe in a converted house on Rua Galileu Galilei in Jardim Canadá, Ribeirão Preto. Opened in 2022, it is the original branch of the My Cat Café franchise, which also has a cafe in Cascavel, Paraná. The cats are rescued kittens and young cats waiting for adoption, and they live in their own lounge separate from the cafe tables. Time in the cat lounge is charged by the length of the visit, in 15, 30 or 45-minute blocks, with the fee going toward the cats' food and upkeep. Adoption is arranged through an application form, and the cafe also takes in cats through a donation form. The menu includes coffees, shakes, sandwiches, quiches, savory pies, croissants and vegan options, and there is a shop with cat-themed goods. The cafe hosts birthday parties and other events, and it is open every day.
