Coastal Cat Cafe

Coastal Cat Cafe is a cat cafe on West Garden Street, just west of downtown Pensacola, and the city's first. It opened in December 2023 after a Kickstarter campaign by founder Adrienne Brynteson. The front of the shop sells coffee, tea, sodas, local pastries and snacks, along with cat merchandise and treats for the cats, and a separate lounge holds a room full of adoptable cats and kittens. Visits to the lounge are 45-minute sessions for guests aged six and up, paid in advance online, and everyone signs a waiver. Reservations are not required but are strongly recommended, and walk-ins are not accepted once the last session of the day has emptied. Every cat can be adopted, and the cafe passed 500 adoptions in 2026. It runs a busy events calendar with cat yoga, paint nights, trivia and crafts for children. It is closed on Mondays.
