Coorikuya Obihiro is a branch of the Neko Kissa Coorikuya cat cafe chain inside the Coo&RIKU Obihiro pet shop on Kino-odori in Otofuke, just north of Obihiro, near Obihiro Tokushukai Hospital and about nine minutes by car from the Otofuke-Obihiro interchange. Built around the chain's home-like concept, the cafe lets visitors sit close to a group of resident cats of various breeds. Visits are charged per 30 or 60 minutes or as free time, and the price includes a self-service drink bar; Wi-Fi and power outlets are available. No reservation is needed, and children are welcome with a guardian. The cafe is open every day, with earlier opening on weekends and holidays, and last entry is 30 minutes before closing. A large car park is shared with the pet shop, which sells puppies and kittens separately from the cafe.
