Hogo Neko Cafe Lazona
Nishinomiya, Hyogo
Hogo Neko Cafe Lazona is a rescue cat cafe in Takagi Nishimachi, Nishinomiya, about 5 minutes on foot from the northeast exit of Hankyu Nishinomiya-Kitaguchi Station. It runs on a private-session system: each booking has the cat room to itself, so visitors never share the space with other groups, which also keeps stress on the cats low. The resident cats are rescues, mostly young mixed-breed cats, and all are looking for adoptive homes through the cafe's own trial and adoption process. Visits are charged per 30 or 60 minutes, with 15-minute extensions, and socks are required in the cat room. The cafe room is separate, so drinks can be ordered without entering the cat room. Bookings are recommended, especially on weekends, and the cat room opens from late morning for reservations made by the day before. The cafe is closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

Visits after 7 PM require a reservation. Children below elementary school age are not admitted, and children under high school age must come with a guardian. The cafe is closed on Tuesdays unless they are public holidays. The same business runs a cat grooming salon and cat hotel, and takes a mobile cat cafe to events where younger children can join.

Nishinomiya, Hyogo
Hogo Neko Cafe Katsuo is a rescue cat cafe and shelter on the second floor above the ramen shop Men to Katsuo no Monogatari in Koshien, Nishinomiya, a short walk from Hanshin Koshien Station towards the baseball stadium. It opened in September 2024 and is run by the nonprofit Neko no Shiawase, which takes in cats from hoarding cases, cats left behind when elderly owners can no longer keep them and other cats with nowhere to go, and keeps them here until they are adopted.
