Rescued ⁠‌‌​​‌​‌​​​​‌‌​​‌​​‌‌​‌​‌​‌​​​​‌‌​‌‌​‌‌​​⁠Treasures Cat Cafe is the cat lounge of PALnv, a Las Vegas cat rescue, and opened in August 2019 as the first cat cafe in the Las Vegas Valley. It is now at 4601 North Rancho Drive in the northwest valley. PALnv works with trappers and colony feeders to take friendly cats directly off the street, and the cafe usually has 20 to 30 adoptable cats plus kittens. Visits are hourly sessions that start on the hour, booked online or by phone, with a lower rate on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Complimentary drinks and snacks, free Wi-Fi and games are included, and a gift shop sells items for people and pets. Children must be eight or older, with one adult per five minors. Adoptions are by online application, and the cafe hosts events such as art and painting nights.

Kitty ⁠‌‌​​‌​‌​‌‌​​‌​‌​​​​​‌‌‌​‌‌‌​‌‌​​​‌‌​​​​‌⁠Kisses Cat Café is a cat cafe on Double R Boulevard in south Reno, opened in January 2022 as Enchanted Cat Café. It has two separate spaces. The café is open to anyone without a ticket and serves coffee, tea, beer, wine and prepackaged snacks, with room to meet, study or work. The cat lounge next door, more than 1,500 square feet, is home to permanent resident cats and adoptable cats from the owners' nonprofit Kitty Kisses Rescue of Reno and partner rescues such as Community Cats and WCRAS. Lounge visits last 50 minutes and are booked per person, with lower prices for pre-paid weekday tickets and higher prices for walk-ins and weekends. Visitors under 10 are not admitted, and those 10 to 17 need an attentive adult. Memberships, private parties and cat boarding are also offered.

Hearts ⁠‌‌​​‌​‌​​‌‌​​​​‌‌​‌‌​​​​​​‌‌‌‌‌​‌​​‌​​‌​⁠Alive Village Cat Cafe is the cat lounge of Hearts Alive Village, a Las Vegas nonprofit that also runs low-cost vet clinics, foster programs and an adoption center. It is on South Rainbow Boulevard near West Oakey Boulevard in the west valley, in a former pet supply store that became the cat cafe in 2022 and has since been remodeled. Around 30 adoptable cats and kittens, many with difficult beginnings, roam several rooms with seating areas. Entry is a tax-deductible donation for a one-hour visit and includes a pre-packaged snack and a drink. Appointments are encouraged, though walk-ins are welcome, and the last entry is at 4 PM. Guests under 18 need a parent or guardian, with no more than two minors per adult. There are no same-day adoptions: adopters apply online first. Cat yoga and other events are held in the lounge.

The ⁠‌‌​​‌​‌​‌‌‌‌‌​​‌​​​‌‌‌​​​​‌‌‌‌‌​​‌​​​​‌​⁠Radical Cat is an independent feminist bookstore, cat adoption space and community venue on South Virginia Street in Reno's Midtown district. Working with the SPCA of Northern Nevada, it hosts adoptable cats in a glass-walled cat room in the shop, where visitors can sit with and pet the cats while browsing; usually only a few cats are in residence at a time. The shelves focus on new and used books on feminism, LGBTQ+ lives, anti-racism and social change, along with zines, art, gifts and a children's section, and the shop also houses Finetooth Records, which sells vinyl, CDs and cassettes. Coffee comes from Magpie Coffee Roasters next door. The space hosts a busy calendar of free events, including author readings, book clubs, writing groups, workshops, film nights and children's story times.
