Meow Planet Cat Lounge
Missouri City, Texas
Meow Planet Cat Lounge is a cat lounge on Highway 6 in Missouri City, Texas, in Houston's southwest suburbs. Visitors spend time with a group of about 20 resident cats in a dedicated lounge, paying an hourly entry fee and booking sessions online; walk-ins are accepted when space allows. Shoes come off at the door and socks are required, and guests are asked to let the cats come to them rather than picking them up. Children aged five and over are welcome, with those aged 5 to 12 supervised by an adult, and every visitor signs a waiver. Food and drinks are not allowed inside the lounge, and visitors may not bring their own animals. The shop also sells cat food, toys and Scottish Fold kittens, and the lounge hosts painting workshops and private events with the claw-machine shop next door.
