Hello Cat Cafe
Makassar, South Sulawesi
Hello Cat Cafe is a cat room on the second floor of Safehaus Apato, a coffee shop on Jalan Syarif Al Qadri in Maricaya Baru, central Makassar. It has been running since 2019. The air-conditioned room is home to a large group of resident cats, many of them Persians and other long-haired breeds, and a few are kept in cages. Tickets are bought at the Safehaus cashier downstairs and cost around 30,000 IDR per person per hour in 2026, with packages that include cat treats. House rules are posted at the door, and staff ask visitors to read them before playing with the cats. The room welcomes children and is popular with families. Safehaus serves coffee, rice dishes and snacks and takes cashless payment only. The cat room opens daily from 1 PM to 8 PM.

Check each cafe's website for current hours, booking requirements and age restrictions before visiting.
