Claws & Cleavers Cat Café & Lounge is a coffee shop and cat lounge on Brunswick Pike (US Route 1 Business) in Lawrence Township, Mercer County, between Trenton and Princeton. It opened in August 2026 as part of Awakened Soul Sisters, a Lawrenceville wellness studio. The cafe and the cat lounge are separate rooms. The lounge is home to a small group of resident cats and sometimes foster cats and kittens from local private rescues, which stay under their rescues' care until adopted. Visits are charged by the half hour, hour or two hours. Weekdays are walk-in only, while weekend reservations are recommended and every guest must be booked separately. Thursday and Friday afternoons are quiet, sensory-friendly hours suited to reading or remote work. The cafe serves espresso drinks, tea, smoothies and food, and a share of monthly sales goes to a different local cat rescue.
